Vantage Foods is currently seeking a detail oriented individual to fill the key role of:
HACCP / BRC Specialist
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the HACCP / BRC Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of HACCP system and a GFSI quality system – in particular BRC standards.
The HACCP / BRC Specialist is is responsible for the setting and monitoring of standards throughout the plant. The HACCP / BRC Specialist acts as the main conduit of information between the plant, external auditors, or government regulators.
The succesful candidate will have a University degree, College diploma, or an equivalent combination of related experience and education. Previous experience in FSEP, HACCP, and BRC programs is required. ISO experience is also an asset. Outstanding communication skills (both written and oral) are required in order to lead engage and motivate individuals and/or teams. The successful candidate is a skilled user of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point)
