ANCR (Child and Family All Nations Coordinated Response Network) delivers centralized, essential intake services that are part of the comprehensive and coordinated child and family services system in the Winnipeg region. We provide crisis response and intake case services, conduct abuse investigations and offer preventative programs and services. ANCR is generally the first point of contact with the child and family services system. We provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. ANCR receives both emergency and non-emergency calls, with highly qualified staff making initial assessments and referring callers to ongoing services as appropriate.
POSITION: Family Resource Centre - Administrative Assistant
SALARY: $40, 851 to $46, 690 per annum

An eligibility list may be created for similar positions and will remain in effect for 6 months.
Grade 12, plus a certificate in a 1 year Administrative Course, or comparable experience and education.
Minimum 2 years work experience providing administrative support, including experience in the areas of reception, processing mail and filing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to respectfully and effectively interact with partner organizations, staff and the public.
Ability to work under minimum supervision and in a team setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to achieve quality results while handling multiple tasks and experience in an active work environment.
Knowledge of ANCR programs and experience with Intake Module/CFSIS would be an asset.
A satisfactory criminal record check, child abuse registry check and a prior contact check is mandatory.

The Family Resource Centre Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to professional and managerial staff of Snowbird Lodge and a welcoming presence for families accessing the centre. Duties include compiling resource materials preparing program calendars, preparing and distributing current and relevant program postings. Other duties include typing, processing and distributing reports, forms, and other documents, preparing vouchers, disbursements and timesheet reporting, taking minutes, recording statistics, preparing legal documents, and the full range of standard administrative tasks.
